COACH CODE OF CONDUCT

MonjWell (“MonjWell”) has adopted a Code of Ethics (the “Code”) that sets forth the standard of business conduct expected and required of the Health Coach (“Coach” or “MonjWell Coach”).  The Code is designed to provide appropriate guidelines, accountability and standards of conduct for all MonjWell Coaches.

Coaches partner with Members seeking self-directed, lasting changes, aligned with their values, which promote health and wellness and, thereby, enhance wellbeing.

The Code requires the MonjWell Coach to:

  2. Consistently uphold the guidelines set forth in Your Role as a MonjWell Coach*;

  3. Communicate and create awareness, including to Members, other coaches, potential members and others who might need to be informed of the responsibilities established by this Code;

  4. Refrain from unlawful discrimination including, but not limited to, race, age, gender orientation, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, national origin or disability;

  5. Make verbal and written statements that are true and accurate;

  6. Strive at all times to recognize any personal issues that may impair, conflict with or interfere with the coaching performance or coaching relationship and if such a conflict arises, communicate to MonjWell to define the best course of action;

  7. Describe to the Member the full extent of the program, what is included as part of the Member’s monthly fees and any additional fees that the Member might pay for aspects not included in the monthly fee;

  8. Accurately represent the qualifications, expertise, experience, training and certifications to Members and others, including MonjWell;

  9. Know where the boundaries lie with regard to your expertise, and refer to appropriate medical professionals when clients’ needs fall outside of your expertise.

  10. Disclose to the Member any compensation that may be received from the sale of products;

  11. Maintain the high quality of the coaching services regardless of purchases of any additional products or services;

  12. Ethically speak to prospective members and existing Members about the potential benefits of the coaching process, the MonjWell program and what outcomes can be reasonably expected based on each Member’s situation;
